Another year in our parent’s life

“Love your parents. We are so busy growing up, we often forget they are also growing old.”

This gives me goosebumps every time I think about it.

Nobody is getting younger, but our parents are definitely the ones that show this age more prominently. It’s only possible to cherish them and try providing them a good life in their older years.

This is our one and most essential task as their children.

Give back what they gave us – time, energy, and love.

I don’t know how life will be when they are not around anymore; I’m not sure how to feel about it. I can’t picture that moment. I guess we don’t know until it happens. Hopefully, we can get to enjoy them a few more years, if not decades.

The only thing we have control over is the way we treat them and the moments we get to spend together.
