Let’s Conquer It – Kyoto Day 6

Three words that could describe this Tokyo and Kyoto trip would be walking, eating, and sleeping. It’s been incredibly fun traveling and exploring these two cities – Tokyo with its dense population, bright ads, shopping and restaurants; and Kyoto with a more quiet lifestyle had its temples, hidden food spots, and home-like feeling.

Visiting the Kinkaku-ji temple as well as the Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine were amazing. Their architectures, history, and feeling are rich and you can feel it right when you step in.

These few days in Japan have brought renovated ideas, new lifestyle visions, and a few extra kilos in my body. Needless to say that I’ve been adding 20k+ steps everyday in my Fitbit since walking is a must every time I’m traveling. My Fitbit has also helped with tracking sleeping data, and I can tell I’ve been getting enough sleep with this cold weather in Tokyo and Kyoto – the thing I lack the most in San Francisco (sleep). However, let me not get used to sleeping so much for there’s a world out there waiting to be conquered ๐Ÿ™‚
