Blink blink. It’s been another year. 2015 went by fast, very fast. I’m not sure whether it was the office routine or the amount of fun outside, or a mixed of both. Anyhow, let me wrap 2015 up in a simple post. Although difficult, I will try. Here I go.
Looking at the big picture I can say 2015 was good.
I attended my graduation ceremony along with special people in my life; I traveled and explored new cities and countries; I met people that have inspired me and made me become more open-minded, stronger, and better; I broke my personal best time in a half marathon when I didn’t think it was possible; and I developed new habits like doing yoga and reading everyday.
I also met girls who made me feel butterflies and heartbroken; I learned that hard work sometimes won’t get you to where you want, and that the best thing is to be smart on allocating your energy and time into work that you really care and love, and matter to you; and finally, I learned what I want and what I don’t want to do the next 3 to 5 years of my life.
I’m looking forward to 2016 as I’m taking my vacations around Asia. Traveling is a time to disconnect from the routine around work; to explore, reconnect and go back to the basics of life; to see and learn new things; and most important, to open my mind to new horizons and new ideas.
2016 will be an exciting year. Plans and projects are set and all they need will be execution. Let’s see how they go by this time next year – tighten your seat belts up because we will go fast!
