There’s a great internal sensation about running as fast as a humanly possible, although it doesn’t show up externally. Our faces are often tight, which is a reflection of our brains. But who cares. All I care and want to feel when I’m running at my fastest is how wonderful it‘s to know that my heart is pumping blood as fast and as much as possible.
I train for this feeling. I run for this sensation. It keeps the heart healthy even though it might have a contrarian impact in my body in the long-term. Anyways, this weekend I’m running a 10k and will try to run as fast as inhumanly possible. I will push and hopefully my body and mind deliver to break a record on how quick my heart can beat per second.
The game is mostly mental.
