We all have a few things that bring joy to our life. As for me, I remember as a kid that my parents’ place always had a hammock in the balcony, where I used to spend time swinging, hanging, and napping during hot afternoons in Venezuela. It’s usually warm/hot there, so it was often that I’d spend time in the hammock.
That hammock time brought joy to my life simply because there was fresh air and I could nap without much distraction.
I remember how fun it was and today I decided to install one in my balcony, and so far I’ve spent more time in the balcony today than the whole accumulate in the past year. It’ll become my usual reading, studying, hanging and napping place from now on.
It’ll be a lot of fun, especially with this heat wave around the Bay Area.
