What you see is not what you get

The world is full of facades that might surprise you if you have a closer look at it—anything from buildings, software applications, and books to people, relationships, and families. There is a cover for almost everything when looked at from the outside.

I think a bit of skepticism is normal and sane to avoid going down the wrong path when experiencing something new. But don’t be too skeptical because you might miss out on enjoying it while it lasts.

There is always a balance between too much and too little in most things in life. You don’t want to be surprised and caught off guard, but you also don’t want to go fully blinded into it – whatever that might be.

Live with the right amount of questioning things.
