What do you care what people think? That’s a Richard Feynman’s book. But also today’s reality.
You focus way too often and too much on what others think about you, what you’re doing, whether you and your friends are following each other on social media, and what not.
The truth is that none of these matter in the long term.
Would you think back and say, “I’m so glad he or she was following me on Instagram”, five years from now?
Would you think back and say, “we have each other’s Facebook”, ten years from now?
Would any of these matter to you twenty years from now? Probably not.
You’re giving away your energy on things that you have little to no control whatsoever.
Who cares anyway?
