I am constantly searching to improve myself mentally, physically, and psychologically, changing for the better, learning from the past, fixing for the future while living in the present. So, if somebody tells you who and how I was when they met or last interacted with me – perhaps that was a week, a month, or a year ago, please understand that I’m not the same person anymore.
The person they met or interacted with has changed.
I am no longer that version.
I hope the version you meet will be much better in every aspect than the version you might have heard of.
Why change? Because there are usually aspects in life that can be improved. Similar to an athlete who tries to improve his or her game on a daily basis, I approach life with this very same mentality.
Life is partially a game in the best sense, in which some people want to be at their best version, so they work their ass off for it, while others are going with the flow every day.
I would like to say I am part of the former, but that’s not for me to decide.
One thing is for sure, though. I believe I can always be better, so I dedicate a good chunk of quiet time to reflect, understand, and work on big and small details about myself.
Which details? Kindness, generosity, and selflessness because I think these are the foundation for most other things that will eventually come.
So next time we meet, I hope to be a better version of my current self.
Until next time!
